Bikaner House Management Society
The Bikaner House Management Society (BHMS) has been registered in the year 2016 under the Rajasthan Societies Registration Act 1958.
The registered office of BHMS is situated at the Office of the Resident Commissioner, Government of Rajasthan. The Chief Secretary Rajasthan is the Chairman of the society. The BHMS team includes 9 official and 7 non-official members.
In recent times Bikaner House has emerged as the centre of prominence showcasing art and culture. The ground floor of Bikaner House includes a Conference Hall, Exhibition Space i.e. Kalamkar, Araish, Guftagu, Sheesh-Deewari, Ballroom, Terrace, Blomfield , Vayu-a Souvenir Shop, Chor Bizarre-Restaurant, L’opera-Coffee Shop and open outdoor areas i.e. Chandni Bagh, Bikaner Bagh for performances.
The main objective of BHMS is to utilize these areas to open up a dialogue on contemporary scene on Indian art and culture with specific focus on Rajasthani art & culture, to multiple audiences through a range of the public programmes.
